Tucson TAWL has held annual conferences most years since 1980.  We feature a nationally or locally known keynote speaker and at least two rounds of breakout sessions presented by Tucson-area educators. Many springs, we offer a day-long workshop with a well-known presenter.  Both events qualify for recertification credit with the Arizona Department of Education, and often for professional development credit with individual districts.  For information about dates, speakers, registration, please click the appropriate link below.

Tucson TAWL was delighted to host the 2017 Whole Language Umbrella Conference at the Tucson University Park Hotel.  The conference featured nationally and internationally known educators presenting on a wide range of practical, teaching, and research topics.
